Finding Truth

Life is based on hard reality. Our task is to find out what is real, and what is truth. Mortals research for truth, but the unknown is vastly greater than the known, and deception for personal gain is rampant.

This goes in spades for eternity. What we believe is irrelevant. The real issue is to find out what the Lord believes. If someone fools us into believing something different from what the Lord believes, we are at risk. If we have found what the Lord believes and choose to ignore that in favor of a different belief, then when we pass beyond the veil, if what we believe is different from what the Lord believes, we are forever screwed. What happens then depends on what eternal system the Lord setup, which may be different from what we thought it was.

The solution is to search for truth. The best method to find truth, is to sincerely ask the Lord with an open mind. We must be willing to accept whatever the answer is. If we are only willing to accept what we already believe, the Lord will not answer. At best, we will get a ceiling-high feedback loop, based on what we already believe.
